Congratulations to the 2014 P3 Eco-Challenge Winners!
In partnership with Broward County Natural Resources Planning and Management Division and the Environmental Education Council (EEC) of Broward County, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is proud to announce our second annual Broward P3 Eco-Challenge! We want to recognize and reward traditional BCPS schools, teachers, students, administrators and volunteers for their efforts to learn about and implement environmentally sustainable measures and green initiatives within their schools and communities.
P3 School Challenge – Demonstrate participation in or implementation of different sustainability metrics based on a rubric composed of 6 comprehensive categories:
Environmental Stewardship Recognition - Recognizes and rewards BCPS teachers, students, administrators, and volunteers who show evidence of promoting civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, and education of environmental issues. The metrics of this category include:

The Broward P3 Eco-Challenge initiative is a multi-divisional and organizational effort among the STEM and Instructional Resources Department of Instruction and Interventions Division, Environmental Conservation/Utility Management Department of Facilities and Construction Management Division, Information & Technology Department, and our partners, Broward County Natural Resources Planning and Management Division and the Environmental Education Council of Broward County.
